CL.011 Christology 101: Who is Jesus?
Taught by Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka, 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays, April 6-27, Rooms 132/133 and via Zoom.
Please select whether you would like to attend In Person or via Zoom.
Christology is the branch of theology that studies the life and witness of Jesus Christ. Who was he really? What did it mean that he was both human and divine? What do we know of his years as a child and adolescent? How do each of the four gospels portray Jesus? What does it mean when so many people today say they are followers of Jesus, just not members of his church? Is that even possible? What does it mean when we say we are the body of Jesus Christ and he is cornerstone of the church? What are some of the latest controversies about Jesus? Together, we will explore these questions and more as we seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus of Nazareth. Child care is available. Must register separately for child care.
